A birth or christening gift has one advantage over almost any other: it stays. A piece with the baby's name becomes part of the room and of the photos of the first years. Here are a few ideas, all made to order in our studio.
A plate with the name
The safest choice. A name plate sticks to the door or a shelf and says straight away whose room it is. If the gift is for twins or siblings, the two-name plate brings them together.
Individual wall letters
For a gift with more presence, personalised letters let you choose the font, colour and height. In a nursery, 10 or 15 cm letters above the cot are a sure bet.
Star and moon
The star and moon wall plaques, with or without a smile, make a simple, lovely gift. They are 15 cm tall, stick on with double-sided tape and go well together.
A smiling hook
Useful and full of personality. The smiling cloud hook holds a backpack, coat or towel, and grows with the child.
Getting the name right
- Check the spelling with the parents before ordering. We respect upper and lower case and accents, and each piece goes into production right after confirmation.
- If you don't know the room's colours, choose a neutral tone like white or grey.
